S12M15: Last Push

Well what do I know? I'm near the bottom of the leaderboard - don't listen to my predictions.

Look. I still think Marsch is not long for the league, but objectively, that was a great win. Liverpool look broken and the question is whether there is enough psychological reserve in this group to stem the bleeding and rebuild, or whether it's time for a clear out. It's stark how the whispers have started around FSG not feeling it now, rather than the 'Mentality Monster' stuff that prevailed. It's easy to run with the lazy lines when things are going well, but those who argued that this team needed to be evolved over the last 2 years, and that the Covid impact on transfers had hit Liverpool's model seem to have been right.

What else? City are the true Mentality Monsters and have been for years. Leicester will feel disappointed at taking nothing from that game. Similarly, Bournemouth will be fuming at letting a 2-0 lead at home get away - 3 Spurs late winners in a row this week (admittedly, the first was disallowed but still)

Brighton absolutely spanked the b'jaysus out of Chelsea on the return of Potter. They are a very impressively run club who seem to be raising their glass ceiling month on month.

Newcastle and Arsenal got convincing wins, Crystal Palace & Man Utd did not and Diego Costa diegocosta'd his way to an early bath. Muito bom.
