FA Cup 3.Final - The Post that's arrived in Fergie time

May 30th.

The most one sided FA Cup Final in about a decade. After I finally recovered from my Alexis-induced celebrations - I reckon I've watched that goal about 75 times in the last 6 weeks, I was ashamed that I'd not finished up this season's FA Cup game.

Then work kicked in again, and then I was away, so the line "Blog" on my ToDo List has been a shameful, ever-present reminder of my inefficiency on my phone's homescreen every time I look at it.

Anywho, I'm writing it now and what can we say about the FA Cup Final 6 weeks after everyone else has had their say?

  • Arsenal + Yellow + FA Cup = good
  • Villa were never in it
  • Tim Sherwood is honest
  • Alexis Sanchez Baby. I reckon he's about 3 moments away from becoming the 'Son' in my footballing Holy Trinity. That would of course result in promotion for Dennis to 'Father'.
  • Theo is working as a False 9 against all odds.
  • Credit to Villa fans for singing right up until the final whistle - can't be easy when you know it's all over with 40 mins to go.
That's about it really - not much more to say especially as we're now into Transfer Window time. But I won't talk about that.

So, without further ado, here are the final results:

Blue: SF, Red, Final & Green: Totals.

So congratulations to Sam Ruback for winning his first FA Cup - I assume Pirlo wanted a selfie with you for the same reasons...

Yo Abbott finishes his debut season with a runners up medal and a cash prize, whilst Josh Daniels completes the podium finish.

Let me have your bank details and I'll sort you out with da moolah.

Special mention to Joe Miller who was too busy fixing Greece and Tharshan Thavagnanaananananananananmanamanmanamnanananmanan, who was to busy breaking Greece to play beyond the early rounds. Poor show fellas.

Once again, thanks for playing, and thanks for the kind comments on the last PL blog - Impossibili5's may well be a goer next season

I'll do one more post in the Close season which will be a retrospective analysis of some stats from the last 4 years, and then we'll celebrate our 5th birthday from August!

Have a great Summer and let's hope the weather picks up!
